Is there an Information Booth on grounds?
The KXDD Information Booth is located in the Main Plaza, near Food Row. There are two additional Information Booths - one by the Deccio Administration Building and the other by the Barns. Stop by the booths any time during the Central Washington State Fair - our staff is always ready with the information you need!
Are there ATM machines on the Fairgrounds?
During Fair, ATM Cash Machines are located at the Yakima Valley SunDome, Grandstand, Main Plaza, Food Court, Oak Park, Valley Building, near Pink Gate (carnival area) & Beer Garden - 9 locations to serve you!
What should I do if I lose something?
Lost & found items may be dropped off or recovered at the Starplex Crowd Management Services (CMS) office, located on the south side of the Shattuck Building. Their phone number is (509) 453-9106.
Do you provide security on the Fairgrounds?
Starplex Crowd Management Services (CMS) and the Yakima Police Department have a strong presence at State Fair Park 24/7 during the 10 days of Fair. We strive for a safe environment for everyone.
Do you provide a Mom’s nursing lounge?
Yes, the Mommy’s Lounge is located at the Fair Farm inside the Valley Building. The Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic will also be there on the weekends (mid-day) to provide any needed support and education for new mothers.
What should I do if I become separated from my child?
If you become separated from a child or adult, please report to the south side of the Security Building (Shattuck Office Building, located between Pioneer Hall & Modern Living Building). CMS Security is well-connected by radio to get the word out to their team.
Are there stroller rentals available?
Howards Medical Supply is handling our daily rentals. They are located outside the SW Corner of the Yakima Valley SunDome and nearest our Blue Gate. Look for the covered wagon! A deposit of $20 (either cash or a valid credit credit) for wagons and $10 (either cash or a valid credit credit) for umbrella strollers will be required until the rental item is returned. Please note: the item MUST be returned 15 minutes prior to closing or the deposit will be forfeited. Items are rented on a first-come, first-served basis, based on availability. We do not reserve most rental items.
- Umbrella Strollers: $15, plus additional $10 as deposit
- Wagons: $25, plus additional $20 as deposit
Are there wheelchair or scooter rentals available?
Howards Medical Supply is handling our daily rentals. They are located outside the SW Corner of the Yakima Valley SunDome and nearest our Blue Gate. Look for the covered wagon! A deposit of $20 (either cash or a valid credit credit) for non-electric wheelchairs, wagons, strollers and a $50 deposit (either cash or a valid credit credit) for all electric mobile units will be required until the rental item is returned. Please note: the item MUST be returned 15 minutes prior to closing or the deposit will be forfeited. Items are rented on a first-come, first-served basis, based on availability. We do not reserve most rental items. However, Howards Medical will take advance reservations for electric scooters/wheelchairs. To reserve an electric scooter/wheelchair, please call 509.654.9899.
- Wheelchairs: $25, plus additional $20 as deposit
- Electric Wheelchairs: $50 (weight capacity 290 lbs.), plus additional $50 as deposit
- Standard Electric Scooters: $50 (weight capacity 260 lbs.), plus additional $50 as deposit
- Heavy Duty Electric Scooter/Wheelchair: $80 (weight capacity 375 lbs.), plus an additional $50 deposit
